If you have some time on your hands, you love art and you’re looking for some things to see in Englewood, the Mark Gallery is awaiting your arrival. The recent winter Landscapes exhibit has drawn to a close, but the permanent collection offers plenty for lovers of oil, watercolor, sculptures, photography and other artistic media.
The Mark Gallery exists thanks to the passion, knowledge and work or Arielle Mark, who is both a Sorbonne-educated artist as well as a renowned art and international business law attorney. Her experience in the art world has allowed her to develop friendships with some of the world’s most accomplished contemporary artists.
This relationship ensures that the Mark Gallery always has a diverse collection of art on display. Paintings by Jackie Bettenfield, Roger Bechtold, and more than twenty more painters are exhibited in the gallery. If sculptures are your thing, you’ll enjoy the work of Karel Zijistra and Mary Ellen Scherl.
Check the Mark Gallery website for the upcoming spring exhibition announcement. Until then, read our blog for ideas about more things to see in Englewood as well as advice about selecting the best insurance for your situation.
